Our Boys
These are our four new boys - Spazimodo, Salt, Pepper, and Belly. They came home with us on October 16, 2004, from a Rattie Ratz adoption fair. Spazi and Belly were ~3 months and Salt and Pepper were ~6 months at the time. |

Our Girls
Kat, Buster and Dill were our first rats, who came to live with us in Spring 2003. They are nearly two years old now. Sadly, we lost Buster to a pituitary tumor in the fall of 2004, shortly after we brought our new boys home. Kat and Dill are still going strong, especially skinny Kat who is much more interested in hoarding treats than eating them. She will take a piece of food away from Dill for the sole purpose of hiding it away. Dill was always very shy, but has blossomed into a cuddler in her old age. |

The Rat Mansion
This is the cage Stephen built out of a bookshelf we got on sale at Target. The boys moved in and loved it right away. We put in our girls' old Wobust Wodent Wheel since they don't use much anymore and the boys started using it immediately! |

Belly Rat
This our new little blue hooded boy, whom we named Belly. He was very shy at first, but now he loves to hang out with us. |

Spazimodo
This is the aptly named Spazimodo, who is a little bundle of energy. Luckily, he likes to stop spazzing every once in awhile for a cuddle. One of Spazi's favorite games is called Smash Your Face. If I lie on the ground, Spazi will sit by my feet, then suddenly run full-tilt toward my head and headbutt my face. He seems to think this is great fun. |

Salty
This is Salt, one of our dalmatian brothers. Salty has an enigmatic nature - he often appears to be thinking very deeply (probably he's thinking, "Doesn't ANYONE have some treats for me?"). |

Pepper
This is Pepper, our other dalmatian boy. He is very gentle and loves to give kisses. |

Tyler
This is Tyler, our sweet rescue boy who died of pneumonia in spring of 2004. Tyler and his brother Toby were already getting old when they came to live with us from Rattie Ratz rescue, but we just couldn't resist their sweet faces. We are glad they could spend their last months with us. |

Toby
This is Toby, Tyler's cuddly brother, who died in September 2004. The vet thought it was probably cancer. |
